With Défi sportif AlterGo activities getting underway today, STM is proud to once again be the official transporter for the event, one it has supported since 1993.
For many years now, STM has been driven by the need for better inclusion for individuals with functional limitations. Its partnership with Défi sportif AlterGo is a meaningful example, with STM seeing to the transportation needs of thousands of athletes who are taking part in this unique, international sports event.
As such, STM provides bus and paratransit shuttle services to Canadian and international athletes participating in disabled sports events. The shuttles allow athletes and their attendants to safely travel between the airport, hotels and various competition venues located throughout the island of Montréal. Critical support for athletes who enter the Défi sportif AlterGo to give their best in high-level competitions.
