Good news for customers travelling through Lionel-Groulx and Bonaventure stations: you can now access state-of-the-art 3G, 4G and 4G LTE mobile technologies with your smart devices.

Deployment of the mobile network is part of the new direction taken by the STM to improve the transit experience for customers, by facilitating their transportation, in addition to making it more pleasant. With a connected métro system, using our mobile tools to check timetables, select your route or stay informed about the status of service is easier than ever before.

Project progresses smoothly
This most recent expansion brings the number of connected stations to a total of 17, or 25% of the métro network. The mobile network is available along a portion of the Green line between Lionel-Groulx and Beaudry stations, along the entire length of the Yellow line, on the Orange line between Mont-Royal and Bonaventure stations, as well as throughout Berri-UQAM station. This year, efforts will focus mainly on connecting the Orange line from Bonaventure to Côte-Vertu.
