Take advantage of Montréal Museums Day using public transit
Come discover the many hidden treasures inside 34 museums in Montréal during this unique event in North America. Make the most of it, admission is free at all museums!
This year’s Montréal Museums Day will take place on May 27. For the 31st year, the STM can help you get from museum to museum and take full advantage of this major cultural event.
The hub of activities will be Place des Festivals, in the Quartier des spectacles. From 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., volunteers will be available to suggest different circuits aligned with your interests.
Four free shuttle circuits to museums off the beaten path
Use the following map to plan your itinerary and maximize the number of museums you visit.
In addition to the list of participating museums and nearby métro stations, the map shows the four free shuttle circuits that will take you to museums off the beaten path, leaving from Angrignon, Du Collège and Jean-Drapeau stations. These accessible shuttles will run from 9:30 a.m to 4:00 p.m.
You can use the STM’s regular system to get to the museums. One-day passes (unlimited trips for 24 hours) and weekend passes (unlimited trips from 6 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday) may be attractive options for occasional transit users.
If you are already a Transport adapté (paratransit) user, you can get from one museum to another but you need to reserve the day before, by calling 514 280-8211 (option 1).
