Roadwork on Sainte-Catherine - impact on lines 61 and 168

The revitalization work on Sainte-Catherine Street will recommence next monday February 11, 2019, and will significantly impact service on several bus lines, especially the 61 Wellington and 168 Cité-du-Havre lines.

Service disruptions on lines 61 and 168

From Monday, February 11 to May 2019, all bus stops between René-Lévesque and Sherbrooke are cancelled. This means that the northbound service will finish at the Robert-Bourassa/De La Gauchetière bus stop and the southbound service will begin at Square-Victoria-OACI station instead of McGill station. Here are some options for getting around:

  • Take the métro
  • Use the 35 Griffintown line
    • Northbound: getting off at the Robert-Bourassa/De La Gauchetière stop
    • Southbound: getting on at the Maisonneuve/City Councillors stop
  • Walk
  • Take the special shuttle bus
    • Northbound: on Robert-Bourassa at the corner De La Gauchetière stop
    • Southbound: on Union at the corner of Président-Kennedy

The vehicle will be a Transport adapté minibus.

Schedule

  • First departure at 5 :40 a.m. from Square-Victoria-OACI and 5 : 55 a.m. from McGill
  • Last departure at 2 :10 a.m. from Square-Victoria-OACI and 1 :55 a.m.from McGill

The northbound shuttle will make its departures every 10 and 40 minutes of every hour (5:40 a.m., 6:10 a.m., 6:40 a.m., 7:10 a.m., 7:40 a.m., 8:10 a.m., etc.).

The southbound shuttle will make its departures every 25 and 55 minutes of every hour (5 :55 a.m., 6 :25 a.m., 6 :55 a.m., 7 :25 a.m., 7 :55 a.m., 8 :25 a.m., etc.).
