We have put you at the centre of our priorities, with improvements to service and to your customer experience. Here’s how.
This year, we will increase service by 3.4%, thanks to the addition of nearly 3 million trip km, to 88.1 million km. Concretely this means the service every 5 minutes on weekday evenings up to 10:30 p.m., already offered on the Orange, Green and Blue lines, will also be offered on the Yellow line starting in June. This service every 5 minutes will also be offered from 3 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on weekends on the Green, Orange and Yellow lines, beginning this summer.
You will be offered 81,000 additional hours of service, for a total of 5.3 million hours. Some sectors will benefit from special attention, such as Rivière-des-Prairies - Pointe-aux-Trembles and Griffintown.
Other measures to improve customer experience
Among the other measures seeking to improve your customer experience are:
putting 18 AZUR trains into service, for a total of 52 trains, with 8% additional capacity on each train;
replacement of 100 diesel buses with new air conditioned hybrid buses;
installation of 217 additional new bus shelters, bringing the number to 1331 new bus shelters, 120 of them interactive;
addition of nine stations connected to the cell phone network on the Orange and Blue lines, increasing the number to 50 stations;
putting elevators into service at the du Collège and Honoré-Beaugrand stations.
