If you have subscribed to either the OPUS à l’année or the OPUS & Cie program for more than twelve months (regular fare), you could be entitled to Maestro status as of January 2013 and enjoy even more transit-related benefits.

Please note: Maestro status is offered to members of OPUS à l'année and OPUS & Cie full fare programs.

Bring a friend

From 6 p.m. every evening to 5 a.m. the next day, including Saturdays and Sundays all day long, bring a friend when you ride the STM bus and métro system and your friend will ride for free!

  • The Bring a friend offer does not include travel on the 747 Aéroport P-E Trudeau/Centre-Ville shuttle.
  • The friend must be accompanied by the Maestro customer all along his ride by bus and metro

Use your OPUS card in Quebec City

Your OPUS card with Maestro status is accepted at no additional charge by the Réseau de transport de la Capitale (RTC).

Please note: The Quebec City-Lévis Ferry is not part of the RTC.

How can you achieve Maestro status?

All eligible subscribers will be automatically contacted by email, around the first day of the 13th month of their annual subscription.

To enjoy the benefits of Maestro status, you must replace your existing OPUS card with a new photo ID OPUS card. To do so, just go to one of the STM's six service points and bring with you:

  • Your existing OPUS card charged with your annual fare
  • A photo ID
  • A copy of the email you received as a loyal subscriber (after the twelfth month of your subscription) showing you are entitled to Maestro status

You didn’t receive an email? Contact Us.

Maestro status can only be requested once in a 12-month period.
