Homo Urbanus turns its back on potential predators, so as not to see their aggressive actions. It practices urban camouflage, reflecting its immediate environment on the front of its body and blending anonymously into the crowd.

About the artist

Born in Saint-Hyacinthe in 1966, Éric Lamontagne creates work in which the real and the imaginary, truth and falsehood, art and science collide, interact, and play off each other. A multidisciplinary artist, he often works on the borders between painting, photography, and installation.
