SPOTLIGHT ON THREE BRAND NEW
MÉTRO STATIONS !
The upcoming inauguration of three new
Montréal métro stations on April 28, 2007, will no doubt generate strong
interest and even greater pride.
AGENDA
Starting April 17, information teams
will be on hand at Henri-Bourassa métro station. Should you be passing
through, take this opportunity to learn more about the new Cartier, de la
Concorde and Montmorency stations and pick up an information flier.
In the days prior to the opening of the new
stations in Laval, the information teams will also be deployed at different
times in other métro stations to answer questions, namely Côte-Vertu, Sauvé
and Parc. Starting April 28, and in the following days, the teams
will be focused on the three new stations, Cartier, de la Concorde and
Montmorency.
Ad campaign
By mid-April, clients won’t help but
notice the new posters featuring the campaign’s visual concept and
signature, displayed inside métro cars, along station platforms, next to
entrance turnstiles and on many buses. Other advertising media will also be
put to use.
Inauguration ceremonies
On April 26, the ministère des
Transports du Québec (MTQ), the cities of Montréal and Laval, the Agence
métropolitaine de transport (AMT, the Société de transport de Laval (STL)
and the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) will officially inaugurate
the three new Montréal métro stations in Laval.
Open Doors event
Highlighting the official opening of
Cartier, de la Concorde and Montmorency stations, an Open Doors event will
be held on April 28 and 29, to which the public will be cordially
invited. Everyone will enjoy free access to the STM’s entire bus and
metro network, in addition to having the opportunity of discovering the new
installations. Information stands will be set up in various locations for
the occasion, and teams of AMT, STM and STL representatives will also be on
hand to provide visitors with a variety of transit information.
Welcoming clients
On April 30, regular service will
begin at the three new stations in Laval. To mark the event, the first 500
transit users to take the métro at the new Cartier, de la Concorde and
Montmorency stations will receive a commemorative gift from the STM.
