STM Transit Information
Montreal,
11 March 2004
– The Société de transport de Montréal (STM) reminds transit users
that several bus routes will be modified next Sunday, March 14, at certain
times during the day, because of the Saint-Patrick Day parade held in
downtown Montreal. There will be no service on the 15 -
Sainte-Catherine between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. or on the 150 - René-Lévesque
between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. The following bus routes will also be modified
during the following periods: line 57 between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. ; lines 66, 165 and 166 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. ; line 107, between 10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. ; lines 61, 80, 107, 129 and 168 between 11 a.m. and
5 p.m. ; line 55 between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Everyone attending the parade is invited to use the
métro, and trains will be added on the 1 - green and 2 - orange lines for
the occasion. Also, because ridership levels are usually heavier after an
event than before, the STM recommends that parade-goers purchase their
return ticket ahead of time. Transit
users should call A-U-T-O-B-U-S (288-6287) when planning their
transportation to this event. For any other information, please call
STM-INFO (786-4636). More useful information can also be found on the STM's
Website at www.stm.info. - 30 - |
