Fund-raising in the métro
STM employees come to the aid of underprivileged families

Montreal, November 26, 2003 – For a sixth consecutive year, employees of the Société de transport de Montréal are organizing a major undertaking to help families in need.

With the voluntary support of some one hundred employees, Les bonnes �"uvres des employ�s will collect donations in 12 métro stations on December 4, 5 and 6. The sums collected will be used to buy perishable goods to fill Christmas baskets for underprivileged families.

Thus, customers will have the opportunity to see employees from several sectors of the company carrying out their charitable endeavours. Last year, this undertaking brought in almost $ 55 000.
