Press releasesGrand Prix Weekend in Montreal Montreal, 11 June 2003 June 13 to 15 is Formula 1 Grand Prix Weekend at lîle Notre-Dame, and for the occasion, the STM is increasing service in the métro. Accordingly, headway between trains on line 4 Yellow will be of 4 to 5 minutes until 6:30 p.m., while on lines 1 Green and 2 Orange, service will be adjusted to meet the demand. During last years Grand Prix, the STM carried nearly 428 000 fans on Saturday and Sunday on the 4 Yellow line. Consequently, in order to avoid lineups at the end of each day, clients should consider purchasing their return fares on their way to the site. And to ease the situation, STM personnel will be on location to help the thousands of occasional visitors.
