Bicycles in the metro on the weekend of the Tour de l’Île

For security reasons, bicycles will not be permitted anywhere in the metro on Friday, 31 May, after 3:00 p.m.

Le Tour de l’Île – read the press release
On Sunday, 2 June, bicycles will be allowed in the metro subject to the following restrictions:

  • Seven stations will permit cyclists to enter, starting at 6:00 a.m.:
    • Radisson
    • Angrignon
    • Henri-Bourassa
    • Côte-Vertu
    • Longueuil
    • Snowdon
    • Saint-Michel.
  • Three stations will permit cyclists to enter at the end of the event:
    • Berri-UQAM
    • Fabre
    • Laurier
  • A maximum of 16 bicycles will be accepted per train, and only in the train’s first car.
  • No transfers are permitted at transfer stations.
  • Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Metro service will be more frequent in order to serve a larger number of cyclists.
