What are the consequences of being questioned?

 

The reality

When a person commits an offence and an inspector asks that person for identification, the person must provide their names, address and date of birth. Anyone refusing to do so can also be accused of obstructing* the work of an inspector.

*Obstructing: interfering with or hindering the work of an inspector.
